It didn't hit me until now

When I was younger my mom would always tell me "when it finally happens to you, you will understand what I'm talking about." I honestly thought I could handle what she went through a lot better. I was wrong!! This week my mother-in-law came to stay with Noe and I for a few days to help clean our apartment to help us get started with the move. While she was there we also went out to go shop for a few things we all needed. Most of the time I was dying to sit down and then walk a bit and then sit down again. My body was going crazy not knowing what to do. I wanted to cry but I thought I should save my tears for the real pain. I didn't realize that the cleaning would take forever! I thought it would be fast and simple, but because my mom always handled the intense clean ups I never knew what the big deal was about moving. Now I know why she hates moving.

Then yesterday we drove down to St. George to stay over with Candice, her brother, and Adan and of course we went shopping...again! (There's a lot of shopping with this family :)) And we noticed that we still needed a little more stuff for the baby and myself. Shampoo, baby lotion, oil, Q-tips, soap, and onesies, and so much more. I thought as long as I bought the baby's neccessities, I would be ok. Well apparently the baby needs a lot of neccessities! Well from now on I'll believe my mom when she says I have no clue what I have in store for me. Mothers know best!

Keeping busy

Before I got my wonderful carpal tunnel syndrome, I kept myself busy with making a blanket for my baby and perfecting my baking talent by making cream puffs. :) Honestly these two things weren't hard to make, they just took sometime to make. I'll put up the recipe if anyone wants to try it at another time.
I've been getting really exciteed for Christmas too! I just love the lights and the real Christmas music (not the Santa Claus music) and the treats we get to eat. We set up our first little Christmas tree a weeks ago and have presents for our families. Yea, those presents aren't for us, except one for each of us. Our biggest present will be our little baby.

Contractions contractions!!!....False.

The day is coming when I will finally be free from the pregnancy stage. It has been the most challenging time of my life. I've never felt so exhausted and emotional in my life. However, that doesn't mean that I'm not excited to be a mom, I'm way excited to see our new baby. I've been waiting to have a family of my own for a long time, since I feel like I've never really had a complete family that I've always wanted. I want to give our kids the best family life ever and i'm thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with this chance.
So, earlier this week I've been getting contractions, which I was really happy to be feeling because I'm done being pregnant. This (what feels like a 10 lbs) baby is breaking my back. I am so freakin' ready to feel my bones breaking, my stomach getting tight, and that feeling of being close to death...but! Of course I'm not that much of a dare devil to go through the WHOLE thing, I'm getting an epideral!! That will probably be the only fast relief i've recieved in this whole pregnancy. I can;t wait :) So for the next 3 weeks, I will be waiting for my water to break and will be keeping time of my contractions. I keep telling the baby to come out sooner but it loves Daddy so much that the baby is listening to him to wait until New Years! I wonder if the baby will ever listen to me. :)
